Rescue Diver
“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. Building upon what you’ve learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.
The Excitement
The fun part about this course is rising to challenges and mastering them. You’ll build your confidence as a diver, gain valuable experience in emergency prevention and management, and heighten your awareness of the surrounding environment. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken.
The Experience
During your training, you'll apply skills and knowledge in simulated hands-on rescue scenarios. As you master techniques, you will adapt your newfound skills to suit a variety of different situations.
You’ll learn:
ü Self rescue
ü Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
ü Emergency management and equipment
ü Rescuing panicked divers
ü Rescuing unresponsive divers
You’ll benefit by:
ü Continuing to become a safer diver.
ü Knowing how to prevent and manage dive emergencies.
ü Expanding your awareness on the risks the underwater environment can pose on divers.
You must be CPR & First Aid certified before taking the Rescue Class; sign up for our Emergency First Response Class offered once a month.
Schedule
Our most popular classroom sessions are held on a weekday evening; the pool session is typically held on a weekend day; the certification dives take place on a weekend towards the end of each month.
